Sometimes we don’t feel quite like we should, do we? Maybe you just know you aren’t feeling or performing like you normally do but there is nothing your doctor or medical professional can help you with because there is nothing physically wrong.

Maybe you’re feeling stressed, anxious, tired, afraid, worried. It happens to us all from time to time but can we do anything to help ourselves feel better? That is where holistic, also known as complementary or alternative, therapies can help. Things like Clinical Hypnotherapy, Reiki/Energy Therapies, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, can all make us feel so much better both in ourselves and in the way we see the world around us. Equally importantly, we should all take some time out to look after ourselves. This is something we rarely, if ever, think about doing but if we don’t take care of ourselves how can we take care of those who depend on us?

So many people either don’t think holistic therapies work or they don’t understand them and this makes them avoid giving them a try. Holistic therapies are all very natural, they work with things that are around us all the time eg your own unconscious mind, energy, crystals, flower extracts.

Take hypnotherapy as an example; we’ve all seen stage hypnotists at work and we know we don’t want to find ourselves in that situation. Well the good news is Clinical Hypnotherapy is nothing like that. It is a very natural and powerful way of harnessing our own inner potential. It uses the same relaxed state we experience when we drop off to sleep or when we daydream. In this lovely relaxed state we are guided to find our own solution for our unique problem.
